Why regular chiropractic care is important
Taking care of your spine
One of the most important decisions you can make is to maintain the health of your spine. Your spine is where your central nervous system is kept. Your central nervous system controls everything in your body, it’s where everything is processed. From movement to thinking, to awareness and even speech; the biggest and smallest functions are controlled here.
The effect of stress on the body
Stress has a way of building in the body. There are different types of stress; physical, emotional and chemical stress. Our bodies have to be able to adept to the stress. When we’re talking about adapting to stress and the effect that it has on our body and spine, the saying ‘the last straw will break the camel’s back’ is very true. If you suddenly experience back pain, do you think it’s from lifting up a pen you dropped, or from having the wrong posture for 20 years, or from the accidents you had as a child or from the multiple sport injuries you’ve suffered. Every injury builds upon the next, until our bodies can’t deal with it any longer. That’s when we experience pain or a decrease in our quality of life.
